EUNIQUE JONES GIBSON

Eunique Jones Gibson is a cultural architect, brand builder and storyteller whose revolutionary campaigns have created global movements.

In 2013, Eunique launched Because of Them, We Can® (BOTWC), an award-winning campaign that helps people reimagine their possibilities. Founded during Black History Month with a mission to empower the next generation to honor the legacy of their ancestors, the multimedia platform has evolved into a global megaphone for Black Excellence. Keeping with the goal of refuting stereotypes and connecting the dots between the past, present and future, BOTWC continues to reach millions of people each month.

With her 15+ years experience as a leading marketer and communications expert, Eunique formed Culture Brands in 2017. It’s an innovative agency that creates culturally relevant and affirming campaigns and content for some of the world’s leading brands. The agency, where Eunique serves as the CEO & Chief Creative Officer, made history when they were named the first African American agency of record for Hyundai Motor America.

Driven by her love and reverence of Black history and culture, in 2020 Eunique created #CultureTags®, an instant classic game that uses acronyms to encapsulate the joy and nostalgia of the Black experience. The game became available at Target stores in December 2020, and in 2021 Ad Age named it one of America’s hottest brands. It is now sold in thousands of stores across the United States.

A proud graduate of an HBCU (Bowie State University) and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Eunique has received numerous awards and recognition for her work. Some include White House Champion for Change under the Obama administration, AdColor Rockstar, and Ebony Power100. Her work has been featured in TODAY, Forbes, MSNBC, The Washington Post and Ad Age, amongst many others.

Eunique resides in Maryland with her husband, Chris and their three children, Chase, Amari and Sage.
